school started...attended some of the first few lectures and yes, i'm glad to say that civil engine might really be my cup of tea after all hee!the contents are pretty much interesting...and there's lotsa calculation in it...doesn't seem all that bad to me hee!some of the core involves some geography then there's fluid mechanics which resemble physics...everything seems good for the time being...anyway can't afford to flunk any more so i have to be serious in my studies this sem...
today the school had their flag day...so i happily met up with py and we went to explore arab street...it's really smth different from what u see in ur everyday life...the architecture of the buildings, the interior design of the shophouses, the diversity of the merchandise, the cultural aspects of the entire area just let u have the feeling of an escape from reality...also there are really nice cafes for one to chill out...seems really good but we didn't went in coz we were dazzled by the stuff on display in the shops...also the retailers are really friendly and nice ppl too...
we left the area around six afterwhich we headed down to grapevine to chill out...feels great to be back there even though i just worked there on sat...it's just so weird how i can miss the place even when i frequent it so often...or like what angel say it's nice being back there for there's ppl whom u know...well it's just nice being back to a place where u are familiar with i presume...

written in chinese character the word human or "ren" is actually two strokes of the brush...however what really puzzle one is how come the word is so simple and yet the actual human is so complicated? py gave a real good answer... it's because in the past humans are merely uncomplex creatures. how very true!!! i couldn't have agree more...
sadly, humans become more perplexed with the passing of each day... why why why? won't it be nice if humans stay simple and live life as it was? happy as can be? of course the competitive society will never allow... one have to upgrade to keep up with the fast pace of the globe spinning each day for the sake of seeing a better tomorrow... how irritating!!! our species are getting more gruesome as the day pass... damaging the atmosphere, killing the poor earth that provides us with everything, hastening the speed to armageddon...and if one day the world is coming to an end, what would you do??
