sweeet surreal

went to the airport the other day to study and while waiting for my friends, i stumbled upon this old couple sitting on the next bench and secretly took a shot 'oops'

the old man was reading the newspaper which he conveniently folded into a small rectangle and he had a tiny dictionary with him too. he was so caught up that he hardly lifted his head to take a glance around. and all these while, the old lady was just sitting quietly and patiently beside him while surveying the surrounding.

i sat on the bench next to them and observed for a while. it is so sweet and heartwarming. the sight of them gives me hope that an everlasting love still exists. but yet, sad to admit, the statistics today prove otherwise.

o well, thought i share with you guys the above. so enjoy in the sweet surreal! (=

beside the material satisfaction.. it makes yvonne realise how much mummy care for her. (i do know all along somehow now i'm feeling it even more)

in conclusion, yvonne will do her best to be a good girl & make her happy.

my sincere apologies to those of you who feel neglected in sme way or another. sorry for the postponed dates of dinners, movies, chillout, outings, sessions whatnots. therefore, i'm posting this (and later on friendster too) to let you know...

utterly disgusted

i don't usually do this. but i'm totally disgusted by the incorrigible arrogance of sme individuals, esp this one that i'm gonna talk about.. maybe it was unintentional but it's too much grrr! so pls dear friends, do bear with me!

there is this individualistic soul in my class. i have been with the soul for quite a few lessons. a very competitive person and very well-equipped therefore the need to stand out from the rest. on the average, a D student for sure. however, the interpersonal/interactive skils of this individual is terrible. in class, hardly anyone speaks/entertains the soul. i do try my best to be as friendly as possible.

anyhow, that aside. recently we have this assignment which leave many of us bewildered even after submission. but we decided to ignore our doubts, cross our fingers, pray hard and submit it.

a few days back, the comments to the assignment was released. i was informed firsthand by the kind soul. the soul then complained how the lecturer misguided us and rattled on and on. eventually, i found out that the soul did not heed the lecturer's advice and went ahead to include other points in the assignment. so DUHH!! i don't see why the soul is being so concern over smth that don't matter to the soul and the soul even suggested the rest of us to do smth about our lecturer like maybe report his misguidance to the school. so dieow..

i was getting irritated so i told the soul off, that since the soul did include it, then it is none of the soul's concern. the comments that the marker gave does not apply for the soul. think the soul got the idea that what the soul was doing was pissing me off. thus, the soul back off after ie good.

then today, the kind soul told me that the soul wrote in to the marker and requested for the marks to the assignment. i believe the soul did fairly well since the soul did include an important point which many of us did not. when asked, the soul said the grade was not too good. so i asked if it was at least a pass. unexpectedly, the answer was the soul got a D and added on, it was 2 marks away from HD. WTF!!! before that, the soul sounded all down as though the soul did not perform well.. grrr!!! pisses me off man! the rest of the conversations was filled with the soul's ramblings about the lecturer yada yada yada.. which i can hardly bring myself to be bothered with.

seriously, how can a person gets so caught up with grades and be so ignorant/insensitive of the feelings of others?? grrr.. i don't doubt the soul meant well but honestly, i think the soul should do smth to improve the interpersonal skills the soul possess, (borat) NOT!

all right just need to vent this out.. no more next time! do apologise. argghhh!

P.S: the soul was used repetitively so as to prevent any disclosure of identity/gender/names. it maybe a cat, a dog, a fictitious character etc. or a imaginary friend after too much studying bleahh
