hohoho!i'm finally home after the long long days away...i seriously suffering from homesick bleahh!i miss home,my friends and fooood...hahaha!first thing i touchdown yesterday evening i bought a mushroom swiss haha!i miss the food alot alor!!!i love singapore food...slurp~
well shall not dwell too much on those...shall tell u guys how everything went hee!

okie roughly tt's about it...my goodness!each time i stepped into the aircraft i can't wait to get off...we took a 4 hours flight to hong kong and meet up with my uncle's friend...auntie joyce with her 3 kids,kat,chris,tim and the maid,anda~then flew the 14 hr flight to vancouver
anyway did i mention my uncle's kids...he have 3 of them too~min,jin and yang...also my auntie's niece and nephews,jolin & ronald was on the trip so we embark on our journey to the land of maple leaves haha!
day 1 - we arrived in vancouver early in the morning aroud 10...check in at four seasons and then went to eat our lunch at some japanese restaurant~everyone was tired from the long hours of flight...some of the kids fell asleep on the futons~esp yang coz he was a little hero...he didn't sleep thru'out the flight to canada...shortly after lunch we went back to our hotel and took a nap. in the early evening the sky was all dark...pitch dark just like the night.we woke up and went to their megastore sears to get our skis clothing...after all tt was done,we retire for the night
day 2 - we had like half day left in vancouver and we have yet to get our snow boots!panic panic!we ran around the place looking for the suitable shoes and prices.finally we found it...all of us tried, settled our shoes, then we head on to the world ranked no. 2 ski resort --whistler mountains. on the way there,the scenery was breathtaking~wow!mass of water and huge mountains joined in line to form beautiful pictures of nature...and for the first time in my life,i saw tons of snow and they were really pure white~it's so so pretty!!!the whole winter wonderland feeling just came down on me...so as i was saying the nice nice apartment turn out to be exactly the same!!!darn nice!!!really huge...four bedrooms on the ground floor with 3 toilets...one kitchen with a huge dining area...and a huge living room...upstairs is the family entertainment room installed with all the tv and stereo set...way cool!
day 3 - ahha here's where the real fun begins...muahahhahaha!we woke up early in the morning and went around getting our ski equipments~we bought the gloves and goggles and went to rent the skis~bad start coz i got cut the first thing i took my skis from the person damn!after a quick lunch we all attempted to put on the heavy skis boots on...it sucks man!coz it's really hard it hurts the feet and it's really hard to walk down stairs with it on...scary!till now i'm still having a little phobia when going down stairs haha!all right back to skiing...we have 3 intstructors,ken the reckless flirt,tim the trying-too-hard guy and jeff the father kolar...haha!first session was the toughest...we were all new on the skis except for min,jin, yang and uncle who have skied before...so everything down to the basic!right in the learning centre, we had to climb up small gentle hill to get on the 'magic carpet' which was some electronic belt similar to a travlletor and ski down the hill...over and over,we did tt~all of us complaining...coz it's freaking tired esp when i haven't exercise much for the past year or so ever since j2 prelims (i'm disgusted by tt too) so much for tt,we are done for the first day of skiing...
day 4, 5, 6, 7... it was more skiing and more skiing as the day goes by~it was fun!!!hella lot of fun...we went up green runs and did blue runs too which were slightly tougher and more steep slopes as compared to the green ones...after a couple of runs of those ahhaa!the magic carpet was nothing haha!i remembered falling quite a lot every day hahaa!it was funny!i enjoyed the falls ahahhaa!but there were days when the weather was bad and the snow was hard~i ended up with big bruises on my knees boo!they have this run called the seventh heaven...i tell u the view is magnificient!!!absolutely lovely!u feel u are at the top of the world...u are actually...i'll try to figure out how to upload the pictures~it's awesome!!!one thing i dread about skiing is the food...bleahh!!!everytime we have to go up some lodge and then all they have was fries,pizzas,burgers and stuff similar~boo!!!everyday of the same stuff makes me wanna puke...but no choice u are up in the mountains u have to make do~sighs!anyway when we were up there in the resort,we completely lost track of time and date coz there was hardly a clock in the house...guess it was meant to be this way or smth~tt's what a holiday is about yea?!haha!before we went down the mountains,we did dog sleding...it's a pretty sad sight~all the dogs pretty skinny and some looks weak but all had to pull the sledge...man!i nearly cried when i hear their whims and howls~booo!say no to dog sleding!!!
after 10 days or so we got down from the mountains and went back to vancouver~we had fri night,sat and sun left in canada then monday morning we leave for hong kong...the shopping at canada was fantastic!!!there were tons of sales going on and they really do mark down the prices it way good!!!but sad to say their sourvenirs were pathetic...it's like maple syrup anyone?!bad bad...so sorry all my friends didn't manage to get stuff for u guys...i only have chocolates which is damn damn nice!!!will let u guys try when we meet up k?!hee!
then in hongkong it was simply a eating trip...walk around then eat my god!the shopping there sucks!!!the place we went to was simply a duplicate of paragon...lovely things but outta our reach sighs!never go too pacific plaza unless u have the spending power...then after our 3 days 3 nights stay there we came back to singapore...i'm so happy to be back~feeling rather disorientated though ahaha!
tt's about it all...will write again when i remember anything interesting...i think i'm suffering from jet lag~i'm so dead...i woke up at 6.30am~a change for me?!i dun want....boo!!!
