*dong dong long chiang*
first day of chinese new year...well it couldn't be better hahahaa!as usual the visting tt took place the entire afternoon...*phew* glad it's all over...we went to like almost 6 places in all~all the grand uncles & aunties' place...it was really nice to be seeing them all over again coz it's pretty much a-once-a-year thing...
well then the usual phrase "wow u grew so much...i dun think i can recognise if i see u on the street..." & it continues with... "last time u still so small...only this tall (hands will be at the waist) blah blah blah..." & " so fast u are studying/working lalalalala..." ahahhaa!i think old ppl are just so adorable...awww! *muahs* long live to the elderly~ there's a chinese saying tt goes smth like having an elderly at home is as good as having a treasure there...i couldn't agree more~really love my granny(my mummy's mum) to bits!she has been there since i was 1 day old...now tt i'm turning 20~she's still here to shower her love,care and concern not only to me...but all the sons,daughters,grandchildren as well~
yesterday during steamboat...(in fact during any occasion tt involves a feast at home) she will always be the last to be seated...she will make sure tt everyone get a bit of this & that~last time i used to wonder why she always so reluctant to come sit down to eat together...now i figured out tt perhaps these are the only times where she can take great care into her children's comfort and make sure they eat well and feel good before she herself starts to enjoy her food...it's really heartwarming yea?! awww! *hugs* loveeeeeee her so so much!ahhhhh!
back to the visting issue...however it gets really tiring and the weather wasn't helping much too...booo!so freaking hot...and it makes ppl sleepy with the heat bleahh!i was glad tt everything was over by early evening...
weee all in all had a great chinese new year~well i think partly was because i rode on a bike for the first time in my life...tt made everything tt wasn't okie,much better now haha!thanks alex for the bike ride~wooo!so much fun...from my house to east coast and back hee!think used up quite abit of petrol but it really felt good haha!so fun...i want it again,again and again~xiong next will be u hahhaa!
